Krunch SA (Pty) Ltd respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and how you can control it, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

1. Who is responsible

2. What we collect

• Order details: your name, company (optional), phone number, email address, delivery address and what you ordered.
• Account details, if you create an account: your login and order history.
• Messages you send us through the contact form, by email, phone or WhatsApp.
• Technical information: your IP address, browser and the pages you visit, collected with cookies (see section 6).

We do not collect or store your full card details; payments are handled by our payment provider.

3. Why we use it

• To process, deliver and support your orders, and to keep the records the law requires (such as tax records).
• To answer your questions and stockist enquiries.
• To keep the website secure and to understand how it is used so we can improve it.
• To send you news and specials, but only if you agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.

4. Who we share it with

We never sell or rent your information. We share only what is needed with service providers who help us run the shop: our courier (to deliver your order), our payment provider (to take payment), our website host and email provider, and analytics tools. They must keep your information safe and use it only for the service they provide to us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Some of these providers (for example analytics and email services) may store information outside South Africa, in countries with adequate data protection laws or under agreements that protect it as POPIA requires.

5. How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for at least five years as tax law requires. Contact form messages are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. Other information is deleted when it is no longer needed.

6. Cookies

The website uses cookies to keep your cart and login working (necessary cookies), and to measure visits and the performance of our advertising (analytics and advertising cookies, such as Google Analytics). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the shop may not work properly without the necessary cookies.

7. Security

The website uses encryption (HTTPS) and we limit access to personal information to staff and providers who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will tell you and the Information Regulator if there is a breach that affects you.

8. Your rights

You may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to its use for marketing, and withdraw any consent you gave. Contact us using the details above. If you are not happy with our response you may complain to the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za, complaints.IR@inforegulator.org.za).

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page.
